Dr Marcus Baw
A clinical informatician, software developer and systems administrator, Marcus has a highly specialised skill set to bring open source platforms and products to life. Building on a wide range of clinical experience in settings as diverse as Intensive Care and Prison General Practice, Marcus has deep technical and organisational knowledge that he uses in the development of patient-empowering, robust and clinically safe real-world tech that clinical professionals can trust. He has been building, hosting and maintaining Discourse forums for a variety of clients, some for as long as ten years. He has community engagement experience with audiences from special interest groups to project teams and product management experience with organisations including NHS Digital and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. Marcus transforms how engagement and collaboration take place, working closely with clients to develop products tailored to their needs.
Nadia Kuftinoff
Nadia has worked in innovation adoption for her entire career in the NHS, learning from experts in a Health Innovation Network before leading on user research and evaluation projects at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Most recently, she has worked in digital delivery and transformation at Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board. During the pandemic she was part of the team developing the Covid Oximetry @ Home platform, was the lead on a digitally enabling care homes initiative which saw national spread and volunteered at a vaccination centre. She was a member of cohort 2 of the NHS Digital Health Leadership Programme and went on to earn her MSc in Digital Health Leadership from Imperial College London. Nadia enjoys getting to know people, understanding their experiences and ensuring that her work contributes to the development and improvement of services.
